Technology at Saint Gertrude is integrated across the curriculum.

Facilities include:

· Two computer labs
· Networked computers in all classrooms
· High Speed Internet access throughout the building
· Wireless laptop groups
· Peripheral equipment – scanners, digital cameras, color laser printer, video capture cards.

 

Skills are taught throughout the curriculum through various projects which require that the students become proficient in:

·Word Processing
· Spreadsheets
· Database manipulation
· Desktop Publishing
· Basic file management
· Scanning and Graphics
· Use of Online resources
· Media Literacy
 

Specialized classes include:
· Keyboarding /Computer Applications – required for all Freshmen
· HTML / Web Design
· Computer Digital Art
· Computer Programming
