Directions from the North

To Saint Gertrude High School (Volleyball, Basketball)

Take 95 South to Exit 79. Bear left to 195 South. Take 147 Cary St. / Grove Ave Exit. Bear right to Grove Ave. Right at the stop sign. Right at the light onto Grove Ave. At the light take a left onto Thompson. Go two blocks. Right on Stuart Ave. The school is 4 blocks on the right. Enter the gym from back parking lot.

To the St. Joseph’s Villa (Field Hockey, Soccer, LAX)

Take 95 South to Exit 83 B (E. Parham Road). Go approximately ½ mile and turn left on Brook Rd (Rt. 1). Turn right into St. Joseph’s Villa at the next light. Do not park next to the buildings next to the field.

To Dumbarton Softball Field (Softball)

Take 95 South to Exit 83 B (E. Parham Road). Go approximately, 3 miles and turn right on Staples Mill Rd. Go ½ mile and take a left on Hungary Springs Rd. Field is on the left behind Dumbarton Elementary.

To Tennis (Byrd Park)

Take 95 South to Exit 78 (toward Boulevard). Turn right onto the Boulevard. Go 2 ½ miles to the end of the Boulevard and tennis courts will be on the right.

Directions from the South

To Saint Gertrude High School (Volleyball, Basketball)

Take 95 North to Richmond. As you approach the city, look for the Downtown Expressway/I95 sign, exit 74 A. Immediately after crossing the James River, bear right and take exit 74A-SLOWLY. Continue on the expressway for two miles and pay the 35 cent toll. Follow sign for I95 north/64, Charlottesville/Washington. Stay right and pass Cary/Floyd exit. Take next exit, 6/Patterson/Grove Ave. bearing right onto the exit. Come to the stop sign and turn left. Go about 100 ft. and make a right onto Stuart Ave. The school is four blocks on the right. Enter the gym from the back parking lot.

Take 95 North to Exit 78 (toward Boulevard). Keep left at the fork and go onto Hermitage Rd. Turn right onto Robin Hood Rd. Turn left onto N. Boulevard. Go 2 ½ miles to the end of the Boulevard and tennis courts will be on the right.

Directions from the East

To Saint Gertrude High School (Volleyball, Basketball)

Take 64 West to city skyline. Take Charlottesville 64W exit. Continue 3 miles to Exit 79, Charlottesville / Powhite Parkway. After taking exit 79 bear quickly left to Exit 186, 195 South. Go approx. 2 miles to 147, Cary St. / Grove Ave. exit. Take 3 quick rights, then a left at the light at Thompson St. Go two blocks. Right on Stuart Ave. The school is 4 blocks on the right. Enter the gym from the back parking lot.

Take 64 West to 295 North via Exit 200 (toward Washington). Exit onto 95 South via Exit 43 (toward Richmond). Take 95 South to Exit 83 B (E. Parham Road). Go approximately ½ mile and turn left on Brook Rd (Rt. 1). Turn right into St. Joseph’s Villa at the next light. Do not park next to the buildings next to the field.

To Dumbarton Softball Field (Softball)

Take 64 West to Exit 185 (Staples Mill Rd.). Turn left on Hungary Springs Rd. Field is on the left behind Dumbarton Elementary.

To Tennis (Byrd Park)

Take 64 East to 295 South via Exit 177 (toward Washington/Norfolk). Take Exit 43 toward Richmond (US 1 South/Brook Rd.) Go approximately 2 miles. Turn right into St. Joseph’s Villa at the light. Do not park next to the buildings next to the field.

To Dumbarton Softball Field (Softball)

Take Broad St. (250 E) to Parham Road. Take the second left on Hungary Springs Rd. Pass Hermitage High School. Dumbarton Elementary is on the left and the field is located behind the school.

To Tennis (Byrd Park)

Take 64 East and merge onto 95 South. Stay in your right lane and take Exit 78 (toward Boulevard). Turn right onto the Boulevard. Go 2 ½ miles to the end of the Boulevard and tennis courts will be on the right.
