Welcome to Saint Gertrude High School! Deciding on the right high school is a very important decision. We offer a strong college-preparatory education that respects and embraces diversity. The unique atmosphere of an all-girls education helps a young woman develop self-confidence at a critical time in her life. Sports, clubs, organizations, service to the community, and special traditions all help to provide an enriching high school experience.
Our admissions team is ready to meet you, schedule a tour, and guide you through the enrollment process.

An Insider’s Look at Saint Gertrude
January 13 | 1 p.m.
Join us for an insider’s look at Saint Gertrude High School. Hear from members of our community — current students, current parents, alumnae, faculty members, and administration — about what life is like during the Saint Gertrude experience and how prepared our alumnae are for life after high school. There will also be a panel Q&A to answer all the questions you’ve wanted to ask. Click here to register.
Lunch & Learn
January 15 | 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Our Lunch and Learn is a shorter and more intimate experience than our typical admission events. For a little over an hour, parents take a tour of the school, enjoy a light lunch and quick presentation, and participate in an informal Q&A session with current students, faculty, and administration. Click here to register.
Dinner & A Show
Coffee House Talent Show & One Act
January 30 | 5 p.m.
Experience top-notch talent at Saint Gertrude’s annual Coffee House Talent Show and One Act performance. Guests will join us for an early dinner then move to the MPR for the 6:30 p.m. show where they will enjoy VIP seating. Enjoy Starbucks coffee while you take in all the fabulous performances. After intermission, our students will present this year’s One Act, our student-directed and produced play, “Alice in Wonderland.” Click here to register.

We’d love for you to come visit!
Come see firsthand what life is like for students at Saint Gertrude. Shadow days begin by meeting one of our student ambassadors in the front lobby at 8 a.m. We begin each day at 8:20 a.m. as a community with Morning Gathering. Afterward, you will visit two classes and stay with us through lunch. Our student ambassadors will guide you through the school for a private tour with an opportunity to visit with our teachers one-on-one and learn more about our signature programs and electives. The shadow day ends after lunch at 12:30 p.m. Must be an 8th grader or transfer student to register.
Tours are usually conducted between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. when our students are in class. After-school tours are also available, but are not recommended, as it is difficult to get a real sense of what Saint Gertrude High School is all about without the students, faculty, and staff present. School tours and Shadow Days must be scheduled in advance through the admissions office by calling 804.822.3941 or request a tour.
