Saint Scholastica Scholarships for Incoming Students
Saint Gertrude High School awards a number of Saint Scholastica scholarships to incoming students who demonstrate outstanding potential and embody the spirit and ideals of the school’s mission and core values. Applicants will be considered not only on their academic success (including transcripts, tests scores, and a written essay), but also on their leadership experience, community service, and extracurricular activities. Financial need may be a secondary consideration. The scholarships will be renewable for all four years provided the student continues to be academically qualified and an active and participating member of the SGHS community.
Alumnae Financial Assistance Awards
These award opportunities are offered to incoming and returning students whose mother or grandmother attended Saint Gertrude High School. The purpose of these awards is to help daughters of alumnae who otherwise cannot afford a Saint Gertrude education. An awards committee, made up of the president of the SGHS Alumnae Association, the head of Saint Gertrude High School, and a member of the SGHS Alumnae Association, selects the recipients according to the information submitted.
