Outdoor Athletic Center
Saint Gertrude recently completed a five-year capital campaign to build its first-ever Outdoor Athletic Center (OAC) with $2.5 million in gifts and pledges for construction.

The OAC enables SGHS to provide a unique, high-caliber sports program for its diverse student population of Saint Gertrude. Now the school can distinguish itself in sports as it does in academics, leadership, and spiritual growth. The OAC has space for the entire Saint Gertrude community to meet in one place for a variety of events, both athletic and non-athletic.

Alumnae, parents (current and past), faculty and staff have contributed or pledged over $1 million to the OAC. Major donors include Bon Secours Richmond Health Systems, Royal Chevrolet, Estes Trucking, Herndon Foundation, Snead Family Foundation, Markel Corporation, and numerous individuals.

Saint Gertrude High School Garden
Thanks to the generosity of many alumnae, friends, and the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation, Saint Gertrude High School’s garden is in full bloom. This beautiful outdoor space has functional areas for special events, classes, and performances. Individuals, families, and alumnae classes have named gardens, benches, trees, and patio stones in the garden.

Naming opportunities are still available in the garden. For more information please contact Michelle Schroeter, Director of Development.

Make Your Mark with a Patio Stone
A patio stone is the perfect way to remember a classmate, family member, or recognize a favorite memory from Saint Gertrude High School. Three different size stones are available for your personal message.
