Girls Volleyball

Saint Gertrude High School's Middies girls' volleyball program provides a team for middle school girls from area Catholic, independent, and public middle schools. Home-schooled students are also welcome to join our program.  The Middies program exists to develop future Saint Gertrude student-athletes.  Our Middies programs are designed for 5th–7th grade students and families who are interested in learning more about Saint Gertrude High School and our athletic community. 8th grade participants should be actively considering attending SGHS and are expected to be in or planning to begin the admissions application process. Our Admission and Athletics teams are happy to answer any questions and support your family through the high school decision process. 

The Middies girls' volleyball team begins practice in late August twice a week at the McMurtrie-Reynolds Pavilion (Gym) on Benedictine Schools of Richmond campus (12829 River Road). The team will participate in the RVC League (Richmond Volleyball Club) for games against other middle school teams once a week. Middies girls' volleyball is a great opportunity for girls to learn and grow in their sport, gain confidence, build character, as well as meet fellow athletes from different schools and build new relationships. In addition, Middies volleyball players have an opportunity to work with our Head Varsity Volleyball Coach & players, and to meet with representatives from our Admission Department.
