On January 12 at 5 p.m., we will offer a student panel where your daughter can learn firsthand about the Saint Gertrude experience. During this virtual event, you and your daughter will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with current Saint Gertrude students.
At Saint Gertrude, we combine the best of academic tradition,
educational innovation, spiritual formation, and commitment to
the service of others to create a high school experience unlike
any other in the greater Richmond area.
A quality education is more than academics – it develops in each
young woman her own sense of faith, compassion, commitment,
confidence, creativity, and community.
Did you know…
Saint Gertrude has an in-house art gallery and multiple opportunities for all interested students to shine on the stage or behind the scenes.
Sixty-eight percent of our students participate in the athletics program where they learn more than just physical skills; they learn the importance of teamwork, commitment, leadership, and determination.
There is no one way to learn. You may find Saint Gertrude students canoeing down the James River, programming a photobooth with python code, examining artifacts at the VMFA, or directing a movie.
Our college counseling department will help you find the college that fits your strengths, interests, learning style, and personality. From day one of high school, students receive the personal attention they need to excel at the next level.
Our student life program is designed to create a holistic learning experience for all students through rich traditions and organizations that help build leadership, confidence, and global citizenship.
We invite you to discover all that Saint Gertrude has to offer:
We are different and it’s our difference that makes us special. All that’s unique about us—our values, our traditions, our diversity, our unity, and so much more—form a powerful combination of advantages that help our students grow, thrive, and lead.
“I have developed so much confidence in myself and in my leadership abilities. Saint Gertrude has taught me how to serve others with a spirit of faith and love that I wouldn’t have been able to learn anywhere else.
– Willow Clark ’19
